Book Club

Join us for a book discussion at a member's home on the last Wednesday of the month _Reading List_2011-2012 .

 

Bridge

We are a social, friendly group which welcomes players who enjoy the game.  We have three different groups that play monthly - duplicate, Monday daytime, and on second Wednesday of each month - 7:30 pm - approx. 10:30 pm in home of a member.

 

Bunco

Bunco is a fun and easy game.  We play the first Tuesday of the month.

 

Couples Night Out (and singles too!)

Meet, mingle and munch with other Newcomers couples (and singles, too) on a Friday night every other month at a member's home.

 

French Conversation

Come and meet some friends and speak French once a month at someone member's home.

 

German Circle

Come and meet some friends and speak German once a month at someone member's home.

 

Golf

Time to tee off.  Join us for a fun and entertaining round of golf. We play in many area clubs.

 

Grapevines

We meet every 2 months on a Saturday evening at members' homes to share a meal and taste some great wines in a fun and informal atmosphere. This is one of the most popular meetings.

 


Hiking Group

We are a friendly group of adult hikers.  We meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 9 am, next  to Citibank near the Pathmark store on 252 N.

 

Italian Conversation

Come practice your Italian whether a native speaker or a beginner once a month at someone member's home or in a cafe.


 
Mahjong for beginners

Hop on over to learn and play a friendly and relatively
simple Chinese version of mahjong. We will review the basics presented in January, and slowly introduce more advanced "hands" to those who desire some more variety. But don't worry if you missed the first session, as basic mahjong is easy to learn, fun and will always be welcome here. This month's Wednesday meetings will be Feb 2 and Feb 16 from 1-4 pm. Mom and Tots

Join our international group of mothers, toddlers and mom's to be for morning playgroups. We meet  in various locations: parks, mom's home, libraries, field trips, etc.

 

Needles and Pins

Bring your cross stitch, knitting to work or to learn, or other craft and join in the stitching, chatting and eating every Monday afternoon.

 

Potluck Lunch

Come and join us for lunch and conversation.  Everyone brings a homemade dish to share. This group is too much fun! Please join this fabulous ladies group on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

 

Spanish Conversation Group

Bienvenidas.  If you want to practice some Spanish, please join us from September to May the club generally meets every 4th Thursday at 10:00 am, in the members' homes.

 

 

Tennis

Grab your racquet and join us for Monday morning tennis as weather permits and mixed doubles mixers in the summer and fall. We meet at 9:00 am sharply at Valley Creek Park, off Route 29. Our average playing ability is intermediate.
